Stress – bursting ways from the Mayhem.

That evening while reading through the bunch of pieces mailed to us , I mused over the varied writing styles , multitude of thoughts that seer into the minds of an author while they have started penning down for our second anthology “ Chaos”. But there are still many who are behind the curtains of apprehension – whether or not their writings would be held with esteem.

The deadline is approaching soon and you haven’t even approached at a thought. Nevertheless you might be apprehensive whether it would be recognizable by our Team or not. Human souls always attempt for something only if its universally acknowledged - and not with the vision of giving your thoughts the wing to fly. Think of yourself as the Mother Bird who has preserved her eggs, helped them to crack and at the right time when the baby bird is ready for its first flight, she has left it all alone to fend for herself. Likewise you have nourished and nurtured your thoughts for long and then when it’s time to flutter ( when our next Topic has been published inviting souls like you to contribute ) , spread your wings and soar . No matter you make follies, do not hesitate and pen down whatever shrouds your mind. Remember the baby bird's first flight leaves her vulnerable to all sorts of danger but she soars high without paying heed to those. “To err is Human “

Lituminati is a platform for those budding souls who are blessed with benevolence and passion for writing and would like to flood the world with their versatile and binary vision. However many are under the notion that bombasting words ,impeccable English , refined speech is the key to get published their piece. A negative Nod to this. Never! A simple piece, penned freshly in simple words, justifying each thought will do the needful. You needn’t have to have your background in English Literature to write for our anthology. Always remember we have embraced people from different fields to contribute. There’s no Conditions Applied to our invitation . If your passion is writing, vocabulary and syntax problems won’t be a hindrance .We just want your will and desire to write and share .

Human Beings are coined on the pretexts of positing the twin topologies of Positive and Negative. We have a flip side to both .When words like Hope, Happy is heard – the Positive side of us tries to push you to give them the Recognition, eulogize them. And when words like Chaos, disruption are sensed – Negative side of us rolls out . But who has made such distinction? Our second anthology should not constrict your thoughts to something negative or pessimistic. Show that Chaos is an admixture of both – Pessimism and Optimism. You defeat the other to shine over. But during that span of defeating the other, you are in a realm of something Chaotic and Disorderly.

Have you realized why our first anthology was titled Hope and the second one Chaos? Are they attached with a strain of similarity? Initially we Hope for something. Desire and Hope floods our mind – nonetheless for something that’s positing Positivity. We would never desire to kill or ravage something though. But when you try to attain that, doesn’t your life shroud in Chaos, rupture and disorder? Is it always smooth to attain something hoped for? Even if you hope for Happiness, isn’t attaining that leaves your life too Chaotic at the end? But you get to taste the Sweet Happy Days ultimately .

Have left you all with a lot of hints though .Ponder over such questions, pen it down and mail us to lituminati@gmail.com .

You are the Mother Bird. How long will you preserve your thoughts? Help them soar high.

Musings of a Random Reader

It’s a busy Tuesday afternoon, but luckily I am blessed with a free day at home. And sitting beside my window, sipping coffee with my favorite book in my hand, I couldn't help but wonder about my role as a reader in the hierarchy within the literary world.

We all read, don't we? Right from our initial years in school to probably our last days on Earth. We read to learn, to enliven our mood, to experience or to know. It’s said that a reader lives many lives during his lifetime in contrast to the non reader who lives only one. Plus we don't need a qualification to be able to read, except perhaps a working knowledge of language. Anybody can read and interpret what they read in their own way.

If you are reading this, I guess it would be safe to assume that you too, like me, are a reader. So I will refrain from going on and on about the joys of reading, although I am very tempted to do so.

On the other hand, what I want to do in this post is to address you, as a reader to a fellow reader. The thing is, with technology such as kindle, eBooks, even piracy at our doorstep, readers across the world do not have a dearth of reading material available to them.

However what must be also kept in mind is that despite the technology available to us today, there also isn't a dearth of voices that need a platform to get heard.

You see, as a reader, you aren't as blessed as you assume yourself to be. While you do have a say in what you choose to read, your choices are still limited to what publishers around the world choose to publish and what they choose to filter out. There could be millions of voices out there who might resonate with you; in whose words you may find a sense of fellowship but they can't reach you yet.

At Lituminati, these voices can find themselves the niche that they did not have access to earlier.

We, at Lituminati, bring to lime light unheard voices across the world, to the world.

We give the literary enthusiasts all over the world a single word and we receive a myriad of interpretations. Did you read our last anthology that brought out the significance of HOPE for writers across nations, together in one anthology? If not, you can find it on our website.
Experience HOPE through 29 different voices from different parts of the world.

To conclude, I think readers occupy a very privileged role in the hierarchy within the literary world. You, as a reader sustain it and without you these voices would be like sound in a vacuum. Our next venture is Project CHOAS.

We hope to give the reading community across the world another opportunity to experience the magnitude of meaning carried by one word through a plethora of voices.

Until then, tell us about your experience as a reader. Have you ever come across a voice that did not get the attention it deserved, yet you were glad to have been lucky enough to come across it?

P.S If you are a writer, feel free to share your thoughts with us on the word CHOAS and stand a chance to get published. You can visit our website for further details.
