Hope: 5 W’s &1 H

What is Hope?
Hope is a positive word upon which the whole world is hanging. Humans hope for anything and everything so much that it has now become a substitute word for even calling the name of GOD.

When do we Hope?
There are things in life which are unpredictable and not in human hands. It is at this juncture
we start hoping or wish that things go well.

Why do we Hope?
It is because of our desire that things in life should go smoothly or as per our wishes; and that may or may not, remain a distant dream.

How do we hope?
We hope by believing upon things which are unseen and afar to our naked eyes. We cross our fingers; touch wood and do many such things!

What is the end of this Hope?
It is as unpredictable as the thing hoped for! Things or events may turn out as we wish or become completely contrary to us.

What does this Hope do to us?
It gives us immense pleasure. By hoping we remain positive and we also find a solace in
H-O-P-E.

Keep HOPING...

Hope - The four letter word

Hope is one of the most positive words in the English Language.
This four letter word can have a multitude of emotions, opportunities attached to it. This four letter word can incite memories, feelings, and create situations.

Hope can embody anything from getting up in the morning and wishing you have a great day to acing that job interview.

For me hope is the idea of always having words and ideas in my head that can help me write. Reading is hope, writing is hope, waiting for the world to read my work is hope, even the idea of making people think and act for the right, is hope.

Hope is the four letter word that the world relies on. It, and the people in it, work for hope of a better living, of a better understanding and calmer personalities and possibilities.

Hope is today, it was yesterday and it holds tomorrow in its womb.

What does this word mean to you? Tell us with your creative work.

PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN A SWORD

“Pen is mightier than a sword” is one of the first proverbs that we learnt in the initial days of our schooling. As I started writing this excerpt, I began wondering the materialization of this proverb.

How easy it is to hold a pen and write. But, the moment we take up our hand to write, we unknowingly draw imaginary lines or move our hands across the paper with no particular reason. What makes a writer do that? Has the old saying got to do something with it? Or is it the inexplicable comparison that we draw between a pen so small a thing and a sword that’s blazing and powerful. What quality should be attributed to it to make it mighty?

To me, the letters produced by a pen makes it powerful. It has the charismatic quality - to create something.  For a writer, the content of his writing is of utmost importance. For a content to be successful, a writer scratches up his head for ideas that has some meaning to it and that which can be presented well; forgets sleep if an idea clicks his mind; walks to and fro to get his idea in words; checks up dictionaries for frivolous or complicated words; plays with his fingers to put in correct words at corrects areas; searches his original idea which sometimes gets vanished in vast layers of letters.

Today we live in a digitized world where the usage of pen is slowly fading out. But the concept still remains.

Writing is a different experience for everyone. For some it is a hobby; a profession; a passion; happiness; relief from boredom, etc. Anyhow it certainly is a phenomenon in itself.

Experience it yourself and see…
